The Construction Technology Instructor will perform duties related to student success by utilizing classroom and laboratory instruction, industry certification preparation, work-based learning, maintenance of a program advisory committee and Career & Technical Student Organizations (CTSO’s).
- High school diploma or GED
- Associate’s Degree or high preferred
- Minimum of three years verifiable construction industry work experience within the last ten years
- Missouri Career & Technical Education Teaching Certificate. If candidate does not hold a current Missouri Career & Technical Education teaching certificate, certification coursework must be completed within three years
- Current OSHA Trainer Certification or the ability to earn certification within the first year of employment
- Demonstration of highest levels of integrity and professionalism in all aspects, including appearance, demeanor and attitude
- Superior organizational and problem-solving skills
- Solid computer software skills
